Francisco Troncoso Pastoriza is a Telecommunications Engineer with a PhD in Energy Efficiency and Sustainability in Engineering and Architecture from the University of Vigo (2019), where he realized a multidisciplinary work that combines the fields of artificial intelligence and thermal modeling. Since 2021, he is an Assistant Professor in the Defense University Center in the Spanish Naval Academy.

His main research interests focus on artificial intelligence and computer vision, IoT, and sensor data processing, with applications such as IEQ monitoring and prediction, and meteorological forecasting. He has collaborated in several regional, national and European projects related to energy efficiency, machine learning, and data security and privacy.
